Hotel Maestranza was a great stay. Decor is modern and new as in the photos. The original triple room given to us had a sewage smell. Staff couldn’t remove the smell so changed us to another triple room that was for handicap. It was a much bigger room with a huge bathroom as a result. But the fittings used in the bathroom were all Hansgrohe, very nice. 1 thing to note is shower area had a lower height to allow easier wheelchair access. So water spilled onto the bathroom floor. Not a big issue cos after realizing it, we just lowered the water pressure and it was ok. Need to highlight is the helpful staff, I think his name is Michael, was most understanding when he came with a mop to dry up the floor. Another nice touch is a piece of Biscoff per guest in the room. Location of hotel was superb. Sights and dining all within walking distance. Had the bridge all to ourselves early in the morning! The staff will park and retrieve the car whenever you arrive or wish to depart. Cos the entry to Carpark is steep n tight.

The property is extremely well located just out out the tourist chaos’s of the Ronda bridge but a very short walk away. It is also across the street from some gorgeous parks. It is a modern hotel and the only hiccup was parking. They have a great garage and thankfully a valet but when we arrived the parking was blocked by a sitting car yet to be parked. I was helpless and could not pull in. I tried to honk but no one came. I tried to drive down the road a bit but a police chased me away from an open area I hoped to sit while my wife ran back to the hotel. She was able to get the hotel to move the car and I was able to enter.

The hotel was very nice. It is very well located (around 400-500 m from most of the touristic attractions), the room is spacious and nice. The bedroom is fantastic as well as the breakfast. There is parking car (the staff park it for you). I recommend to visit the Museum (Palace Mandregon) and Plaza del Toros as well as the bridges (the new and the old one). Ronda is a very nice city to visit, I really recommend. About 200-300 m behind the hotel, there is a square where the population(not tourists) live with a church (there is a movie about it -Mi CONFRARIA -comedy). The landscape to go (and leave) Ronda is fantastic too.

All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Dan. We really the reception team parking our rental car for us and returning it back to the street on our day of departure - saved any tight scrapes. (We didn't mind paying the 15 euros a day as we were right in the middle of town. The room was exceptionally clean and pleasant (we had a street view). Air con worked perfectly (easy to adjust) and bathroom attractive and spacious. Loved the very central location, very close to the bridge and the bullring and lots of good restaurants and bars.

Karen

The hotel was in a great location. All of the attractions were within walking distance and there were many great restaurants nearby to choose from. The room was a little small but well laid out and had everything you need. The bathroom was very nice with plenty of counterspace for toiletries. We had a room on the top floor, facing the street and it was quiet and nice to have the view of the foothills. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
